Who maintains this site?
AllShoeSizeConverter is an independent shoe-size reference maintained by Kamlesh Choudhary, who publishes online as devxkamlesh. The site is a software and editorial project, not a medical practice, footwear manufacturer, or official government sizing authority.
How conversion information is prepared
- We compare the size relationships used by the relevant regional systems, including US, UK, EU, India, Australia, Japan, and metric CM/Mondopoint labels.
- We present the result as an approximate conversion because brands, lasts, widths, and toe-room allowances differ.
- We include foot length in centimeters where possible because a physical measurement is more useful across countries than a label alone.
- We review interactive calculations, tables, titles, links, and visible guidance when a page is materially updated.
- Readers can report errors or brand-specific differences through the Contact Us page.
Sources and standards
These national standards bodies, research institutes, and manufacturer technical documents provide the empirical baseline for the measurement conversions on this site:
- ISO/TS 19407:2015, Footwear: Conversion of size systems, published by the International Organization for Standardization.
- ISO 9407:2019, Shoe sizes: Mondopoint system of sizing and marking, specifying millimeter and centimeter length intervals.
- Indian Standard IS 1638:1969 (reaffirmed 2020), Specification for sizes and fittings of footwear, published by the Bureau of Indian Standards.
- CSIR-CLRI Footwear Sizing Survey Project Report, published in 2022 by the CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute in Chennai, documenting foot morphology across Indian demographic zones.
- Japanese Industrial Standard JIS S 5037:1998, Sizing systems for shoes, establishing centimeter and millimeter footbed grading.
- Official manufacturer footwear size tables and last guidelines published by Nike, Inc., Adidas AG, and Bata India Limited.
Important limitations
A conversion chart cannot guarantee fit. A manufacturer may use a different last, width, sock allowance, or regional label. Always check the product manufacturer's chart, especially for safety footwear, ski boots, children's shoes, and medical or orthopedic footwear. This website does not provide medical advice.
Corrections and review schedule
Pages are reviewed when conversion data, source information, or user-reported errors require a change. The visible review date identifies the latest editorial review recorded for the site. A review date does not mean that every manufacturer's chart has changed on that date.
